Nuggets 134 Bucks 123 - The Nuggets came out firing from deep in this one connecting for 23/40 from downtown. It was also triple double city as both Nikola Jokic and the Greek Freak torched each other, while Jokic was able to secure his triple double with 1:54 left in the second quarter, making it the fastest triple double in the past 20 NBA seasons. Jokic would end up logging 30 pts, 17 assists and 15 boards for the Nuggets who also got 26 out of Jamal Murray and 28 from Gary Harris. Greek Freak paced the Bucks with 36, 13 assists and 11 boards while Eric Bledsoe poured in 27.
Timberwolves 119 Lakers 111- The Timberwolves were able to charge back on the Lakers and secure the win, getting big contributions from Jimmy Butler (24 pts) and Taj Gibson (28 pts). Karl-Anthony Towns, like he does every night, controlled the glass with 19 boards while notching 10 pts for the double-double. On the flip side for the Lakers, who have been playing much better of late, Julius Randle paced the way with 23 pts and 9 boards, while Caldwell-Pope contributed 17 pts and 11 rebounds. Ivica Zubac, not to be forgetten, registered a perfect 8-8 from the floor while going for 19 and 11 boards.
