Mississippi Valley, this was no doubt a beta performance, but not a defining performance. There is plenty of time to go from average to absolutely savage, and I am rooting for you. Thrillride is rooting for you. America is rooting for you. Don't look back in 10 years and wish you did it differently. Hit the cages, smash scrambies and take thousands upon thousands of dry hacks without a shirt on. Bench press a minimum 6 times a week to include flat, incline and decline barbell and super set everything with dumbbell curls. If your not hammering grams of protein like Tony Montana did with Colombian blow, then the workout never happened.
GET HUNGRY GET ANGRY GET SAVAGE
But man, no way around it, that's just a savage beat down. When you dump a 39 spot on the opposition and they drop a doughnut, there isn't really much to take away from that negatively for New Mexico State and positively for Mississippi Valley.
Seriously as a player on Mississippi Valley this is just a mentally draining, quit baseball for the rest of your life, type of game. We've all been there though, were the other team is just dragging their nuts all over your face. You may have invited your brand new girlfriend to the game too, and now your on the hill giving up a 11 spot in the first .2 innings. Worst part in a game like this, and I totally get it, is when it's time to take your hacks the dude on the mound is also dealing for them. So when the dude is dealing, and your chasing 11 after one inning, hitting is almost an impossible task.
I mean shout out to New Mexico State though and Noah Haupt who led the offense with a 6-7 effort at the dish with 10 RBIs, 2 homeruns and a stolen base to top off a career day. Some dudes wont compile those stats in an entire year, probably the same dudes that chose to study over batting practice. Best of luck moving forward and continue to pile it on, while staying savage. I will definitely be following your season now and am looking forward to the greatest offense show in d1 baseball.
